Our legal advisory operates under Vietnamese law and is staffed by qualified professionals who specialise in foreign-invested company law. Where a matter needs a formal legal opinion for court or a regulator, we'll tell you, and can coordinate a licensed law firm where required.
What languages do you work in?
All client-facing work is in English. Where Vietnamese documents are needed — bilingual employment contracts, authority submissions, or notarised translations — Vietnamese drafting is included at no extra charge. We don't work in other languages.
Can you draft employment contracts for our Vietnam staff?
Yes — it's one of our most common instructions. We draft bilingual contracts under the 2019 Labour Code for fixed-term, indefinite-term, probationary, and foreign-national employees. We can also write or update your internal labour regulations and provide template sets for teams being built out.
Can you review a contract drafted by the other side?
Yes, on a per-matter fixed fee. We review it under Vietnamese law, flag risk clauses and non-compliant terms, and return a redline plus a plain-language summary of the key issues and negotiation points. Typical turnaround is 2–3 business days.
